Blissful Prenatal Yoga

Six Specially Curated Prenatal Yoga Classes

*no previous yoga experience required*

 
 

Week 1 - coming home to your changing body

A compassionate, gentle breath and yoga practice, meditation to connect with Baby, the hormone Relaxin and the role it plays during pregnancy and postpartum, and foundational practices to take off the mat into your daily life.

week 2 - Connecting to your pelvis

A brief anatomy of the pelvis, how it moves and supports you, a meditation to connect to your pelvis and Womb, and an introduction into breath and sound to relax muscles connected to the pelvis and jaw.

week 3 - Creating space as baby grows

A body scan and visualization practice to notice what is shifting in the body as baby grows, the power of breath to create space, and a holistic yoga practice to support the side body and lower back.

week 4 - creating space around your heart

A meditation to cultivate compassion for the ebbs, flows, changes, and transitions you’re going through. The heart opening practice will also support any tension or discomfort in the upper body, shoulders, and neck.

week 5 - preparing for labor

An open discussion around fears, anxiety, and beliefs around labor and birth. Meditation and breath to cope with pain, strength to cultivate power and resilience, and closing restorative poses to support relaxation.

week 6 - preparing for postpartum

An open discussion on preparing for postpartum, the 5 Essentials of Postpartum Care, how to ask for support and set your boundaries. A holistic yoga practice weaving parts in from previous classes.

 

What else is included in this six week private Prenatal Yoga series?

Six - 75 minute private classes, in the comfort of your own home.

  • All props provided (Blocks, Bolster, Yoga Strap, and Yoga Tune-Up Balls);

  • 60 Minute Yoga Practice;

  • 15 Minutes for check-ins, sharing and reflection;

  • Singing Bowl, music and speaker provided.
