My experience as a yoga teacher, and why I’m passionate about Prenatal Yoga


Yoga has been the gateway to reconnecting with my Soul’s purpose of supporting women and mothers, and the creation of Blissful Womb Care.

 

Since 2013, I have been teaching various forms of yoga, from creative Flows focused on strength and mobility, to deeply relaxing Restorative Yoga, and everything in between.

fun fact about me…

i lived in toronto for 5 years. while i was there, the yoga community brought me back to my center during years of chronic pain and challenging transitions in my life. i taught yoga full time, and was promoted to studio manager before i moved back to alberta in 2021. the toronto yoga community will always hold a special place in my heart.

My classes are centered around connecting you to your body, reframing the relationship you have with it, and are rooted in mindfulness so you can continue to integrate the practice off your yoga mat and into your daily life.

I focus on foundations, basics, and functional, mindful movements. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, I meet you where you’re at, so you can reconnect to your Womb, Body and Soul with compassion and curiosity.

 

Prenatal Yoga holds a special place in my heart.

 

Since 2014, I have led hundreds of women through breath and movement practices as a way to connect to their body, baby and prepare for labor.

This has been one of my greatest honors, to hold space for women in this process of creation. Not only do I develop a deep bond with women, creating a community space for them to be seen and held by others, but babies seem to know me and recognize my voice after they’re born!

My specially curated private Prenatal Yoga series draws on my decade-long yoga career, certification as a Birth Doula and INNATE Postpartum Care Practitioner. I have a unique, deep well of wisdom to share with you, so you can have a more blissful experience in your pregnancy.

Blissful Prenatal Yoga isn’t your average Prenatal Yoga class that you’ll experience in most yoga studios.

This specially curated 6 week series has been created with the intention of creating a safe space for you to be seen, held, and supported throughout your pregnancy journey, and to prepare not just physically, but mentally and emotionally for birth and postpartum.

Each week has a different focus and theme as a way to honor not only how your body changes throughout pregnancy, but how YOU change. We begin and end each private class with space for reflection, and then if needed, I can adjust the practice to suit your needs, while staying within the weekly themes.
